Mission
The GoldTop Foundation is a public, nonprofit foundation, which assists Gibson employees and their families who face problems caused by unexpected emergencies. The GoldTop Foundation will provide financial assistance to help these individuals in their own efforts to maintain their financial, physical, and emotional health.

GTF will set service goals to address the needs of Gibson employees and will actively fundraise with all donor populations to meet these short-term and long-term goals.

GTF will partner, internally and externally, with organizations whose core competencies address the broader needs of our employees and help us achieve our mission.

GTF will market its global programs and services to Gibson employees to raise awareness, generate donations, encourage participation, and build pride of association.

How the GoldTop Foundation Works
The GoldTop Foundation provides short-term financial hardship assistance to employees. Aid is need-based and typically provided following a recent, unexpected financial emergency that threatens their ability to provide the necessities of life.
Who Is Eligible?
Eligible persons include any individual who is paid by and has a direct employee–employer relationship with Gibson. Unfortunately, GoldTop Foundation cannot assist temporary employees or contract laborers.
What Help Does GTF Offer?
The GoldTop Foundation can provide a minimum of $250 (USD) to a maximum of $2,500 (USD) towards basic living expenses in a qualifying emergency. In rare circumstances, aid exceeding $2,500 (USD) can be provided upon approval from the Decision Committee. In extreme cases, more significant amounts may be available but would require approval from the Board of Directors.
Qualifying Emergencies
GTF may provide financial assistance following critical, unexpected events, such as:
Major illness or injury (to the employee, their spouse/domestic partner, or dependent)
Death (the employee, their spouse/domestic partner, or dependent)
Natural disaster or catastrophe (e.g. tornado, flood, fire, etc.)
Domestic violence (emergency relocation)
